Hot And and Delicious Winter Soups In Michigan, Get A Bowl in Lansing
On a cold winter day who does not love a hot bowl of hearty soup. yum, and if I grab a bowl to start my lunch or dinner, I tend to eat a bit less because soup does fill you up and it can be a light snack I found between meals.
Maybe it's a bowl of corn chowder, chicken noodle, cream of mushroom, Italian wedding, minestrone, or split pea, which my mom always made the day after we had a big ham for dinner.
Over the years I have found most use out of my crockpot by making soup. Pretty easy to throw in some fresh meat and vegetables, seasoning, and maybe spice it up with a powdered soup mix from your grocery store shelf.
Here in Michigan Monroenews.com says, there are soup destinations throughout the state that offer a local flair and represent their soup masterpieces. But first listing the types of soups that are made give us a better perspective.
Lansing of course has no shortages on where to get a good hot piping hot bowl of soup. Some of the top places I have tried in Lansing are:
- Zoup 214 S Washington Square, Lansing. Some great sandwiches on the menu as well.
- Soup Spoon Café 1419 E Michigan Ave, Lansing. Amazing with an appetizing menu.
- Mulan Noodle Craft 611 E Grand River Rd, East Lansing has never disappointed me, Pho is delicious and perfect on a hot day.
