If you're one of those drivers who think you can drive around a school bus when they have their lights flashing and the side stop sign is down, think again. A warning was recently issued in a recent Facebook post from the Ingham County Sheriff's Department about “STOP ARM CAMERAS”. The cameras are now being used by the Holt Public Schools. These cameras "capture high definition images of any vehicle, driver and license plate which decides to pass the school bus while the side stop arm and lights are activated". Not only will these cameras get a great picture of you if you decide to NOT stop, they'll also come with a citation from the police.

So, how do you avoid getting one of these citations? Well, it's pretty easy...just obey the laws. If you need a reminder, there are some tips posted below from the Ingham County Sherriff's Department.
