Hobbies We’ve Picked Up During Quarantine
We've all been forced to find new hobbies or revisit old ones to keep us occupied this year. I picked up an old hobby! I used to draw as a kid and stopped for the longest time because I was afraid I'd be bullied for drawing. Turns out I still have it and I'm mad that I've been sleeping on this talent for so long.
Here's some top hobbies we've picked up according to Study Finds
- Cooking/Baking
- Hiking
- Video games
- Meditating/yoga
- Drawing/Painting
- Learning a musical instrument
We've been lucky enough to have some good weather these last couple of days. So, it's been a little easier to get outside and get some exercise in. I live in Williamston and one of my favorite places to hike and put my hammock up is Lake Lansing North Park. Even with colder weather making it's way here, I still plan on getting out and walking a couple of times a week. I'll just have to do it bundled up.
One of the best ways to get through winter is embracing seasonal activities. Don't let cold weather slow you down from getting your exercise in. Learn to snowboard or ski this winter. This year is about adapting and small new adventures. I have no idea how to do either and want to learn. Which, I'm not sure is the greatest idea since I can't even walk down the street without tripping over my own two feet. But hey, ya win some ya lose some.
