Here’s The Latest COVID-19 Shortage

We are all aware of and in some cases painfully aware of the shortages that have happened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. You, like me know what it's like to walk through a supermarket and feel the anticipation of coming up on an aisle for that one (or two) things that you've expressly come to purchase and...it's...or they're...gone. Then, and then the next week and the week after that...

Let's see...here's some of what have I noticed missing so far...oh yeah...there's toilet paper, disinfecting wipes, toilet paper, rubbing alcohol, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, hydrogen peroxide, toilet paper, pepperoni...WAIT!!!...Pepperoni?!?!?

Yep. Pepperoni.

Of all of the things and I thought that there are and were many, I never thought that there would ever be a run on pepperoni. And even there was, I would think it would get there after it was way, way far down on the list. But no.

According to USA Today, pepperoni is a product that you can now add to the list of shortages. Ugh...I mean, how can you have pepperoni pizza without...GULP!...Pepperoni?!?!

There are smaller pizza joints all over America talking about the fact that they are having to pay almost double and sometimes even more for a pound for pepperoni. Now the larger businesses like the Little Caesars and Domino's of the world won't suffer because they have deals that keep them stocked up with the much loved meat but the smaller businesses are feeling the heat of the pepperoni shortage.
