Saddleback Restaurant Group Closes One Door, Opens New Possibilities
We're sad to see another Lansing restaurant close its doors.
Lansing Restaurant Closures
If you've ever had a slice of pizza at Saddleback in West Lansing, you know it wasn't just pizza, it was a community staple. Because of this, the news of its upcoming closure is bittersweet.
Slice by Saddleback in West Lansing will serve its last slice on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
The team reported that their lease is ending, and after careful consideration, they have made the difficult decision not to renew it.

Why is Slice by Saddleback Closing?
"We are deeply grateful for the incredible support of our West Lansing community," stated the Saddleback team. "This change allows us to focus our energy on delivering exceptional experiences at our other locations." And that's exactly what they plan to do...
Saddleback Restaurants are Still Around
Slice fans in West Lansing won't have to say goodbye to their favorite pizza, or their favorite team. The entire staff will continue to serve the same great food at the South Lansing Slice, so yes, you'll still see those familiar faces.
And those gift cards and loyalty points? They're still perfectly good.

This change is part of a broader strategy within the Saddleback Restaurant Group, which also includes Saddleback BBQ, Saddleback Okemos, and Coach's Pub & Grill, its newest addition.
So, even though West Lansing is losing a location, the Saddleback experience is far from over. Enjoy a slice (or three) this weekend to celebrate the good times, and then continue enjoying that deliciousness in South Lansing and beyond.
