Flavortown, Michigan: The Michigan City Guy Fieri's Featured Most

Since it debuted in 2007, noted chef and all-around foodie Guy Fieri has featured a total of 16 Michigan restaurants on his hit show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives".

According to the fan site FlavortownUSA.com, five of Fieri's 16 Michigan visits have all been in one city - the most individual stops for any one town in the state.

Turns out Michigan's Flavortown is Lansing.

Fieri featured Capital City BBQ in September of 2017. Capital City BBQ not only offers the expected barbecue fare (brisket, pulled pork, ribs, etc.), here's a twist - they also have a variety of Vietnamese cuisine including pho and bánh mì. It's located 1026 W. Saginaw St. in Lansing.

Meat BBQ made it onto "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" in September 2017. Fieri sampled their Trailer Park Bruschetta, the Smoked Turkey Plate, and their Pork Belly Reuben. Meat BBQ is located in Lansing's Old Town at 1224 Turner Rd.

September 2017 also brought a DDD visit to Zaytoon Mediterranean at 940 Elmwood Rd. If you want to try what Fieri had, order the chicken shawarma and stuffed grape leaves.

Fieri featured Eastside Fish Fry & Grill in October 2017. Featured dishes on the episode included the chicken wings and the frog leg dinner. Eastside Fish Fry & Grill is located at 2417 E. Kalamazoo St. in Lansing.
