Fall is right around the corner and like many, I don't like to see summer go. It always goes by so fast and winter seems to linger for so long. The cool thing about summer ending is that fall is so beautiful in our great state of Michigan, so let's get out and see everything our great state has to offer. Of course, there will be a lot of fall festivals to pick and choose from throughout the state, whether it's for just the day or a weekend with friends and family.

Let's make some plans for Labor Day Weekend, where Michigan is loaded with outdoor concerts, picnics, and BBQs.

Here are a few to ponder from rove.me.com.

Soaring Eagle Arts, Beats, and Eats (September 3–6, 2021)

This is going to be a blast and goes for 4 big days, loaded with performers, lots of great food, fine arts, and so much more.

Detroit Jazz Festival (September 3–6, 2021)

Simply the best in the country.  It's free and happens every year on Labor Day Weekend at Hart Plaza and Campus Martius Park in Detroit.

Michigan State Fair (September 2–6, 2021)

This is tailor-made for the whole family and has been around since 1849. Plenty of midway rides, music, Shrine Circus, Farmer’s Market, racing pigs, and lots of attractions.

Romeo Peach Festival (September 4–5, 2021, limited edition without Kidfestival and parade)

If you love peaches as I do, this is for you. Get ready for the Labor Day "Hometown" Parade, Night Parade, as well as craft shows, a car show, charity cruise, and 5K and 10K run. Delicious peach delights will be everywhere.

There you go, get ready to make the most of your Labor Day Weekend.  There will be plenty of traffic, so drive safe and allow plenty of extra time.
