Last season, senior linebacker Mike McCray was one of the co-captains of the Michigan Wolverines football team. The guy had 84 tackles and was an All-Big Ten honorable mention. According to Yahoo Sports, Mike didn't get drafted in April, but the Miami Dolphins picked him up and it was thought he had a pretty good chance of making the team this season. Then, this Tuesday, with two days to go until training camp, Mike quit. Not just the team, but football. Retired - before he ever played a down in the NFL.

So why did he quit? Seems as good as he was at football, he had decided pro football just wasn't for him. Gutsy move. He laid it all out in a Tweet:
