Former Spartan Kirk Gibson goes into the College Hall of Fame
He may best be remembered for his time playing for the Tigers and Dodgers in pro baseball, but according to MLive.com, Kirk Gibson was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame last night. Kirk went in based on his time as an All-American wide receiver at Michigan State, in the 70s. He was elected into the hall earlier this year, but it wasn't until last night that he was officially inducted. His inductee class included some huge names in college and pro football, including Marshall Faulk, Matt Leinart, Peyton Manning and Brian Urlacher, along with Coach Steve Spurrier.
Congratulations Kirk!
