It looks like Kirk Cousins will be playing football in Washington D.C. next year. But will he be signed to a long term deal, or will the Redskins make him him their franchise player for next year and hope they can negotiate the long term deal later on?

Regardless - Kirk Cousins is about to make bank. According to the Washington Post, last year he made $660,000. And while that's a big chunk of money, it's nowhere near the estimated $16 - $18 MILLION a year he'd make in a long term contract, or the $20 MILLION he'd make for one year as a franchise player.

Bottom line - if you see him wandering around town - he's buying.

Here's the story.
