There have been MANY Michigan restaurants and bars that have been featured on the Food Network through the years. Whether you're hanging out in the Capital City or spending time near the Motor City, there are some great entertainment and dining options in the great state of Michigan.

Many Michigan restaurants that have been featured on the Food Network have great menu items that will make your stomach growl. Some of those options may include items that you consider "standard" such as pizza, burgers, onion rings and tremendous barbecue options. But there are also some unique items available throughout Michigan that include chicken gizzards, gingerbread waffles, dill pickle soup and more. You'll also find an extensive list of bars that have been featured on the Food Network. When it comes to "best bar" options in Michigan, we certainly have a variety to choose from.

There have been quite a few restaurants in the Ann Arbor area that have been featured on the Food Network. Zingerman's Roadhouse was once featured on an episode of "America's Best." The Maize and Blue Delicatessen in Ann Arbor was featured on an episode of "Man vs Food" which featured their Triple Play Reuben, and Ann Arbor's Tios Mexican Cafe and Tequila Bar has also been featured on the Food Network.

Also, I wanted to be sure to mention that Tony's Restaurant off of I-75 was rumored to be on an episode of "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives," but we looked through all of the episodes and couldn't find it. If you can find the episode, let us know! I was able to confirm that they have been featured in "Sandwich Paradise" on the Travel Channel, though.

Another big location for Michigan restaurants that have been featured on the Food Network is the city of Detroit. McClure's Pickles, Jacoby's, Nemo's Bar, Midtown Zefs, Motor City Soul Food, Coach InsigniaGrand Trunk Pub and Cafe D'Mongos Speakeasy have all been featured on the Food Network. Cadieux CafeBaker's Keyboard Lounge, PJ's Lager House, which are also all located in Detroit, were featured on episodes of "Best Bars in America." The Ghostbar at the Whitney was once featured on an episode of "Food Paradise" which showcased their Absinthe flamed lamb chops.

There have also been many Grand Rapids restaurants that have been featured on the Food Network. Some of the hot spots include Donkey Taqueria and Anna's House East Beltine which were both featured on the show "Cheap Eats." Papa Bears in Muskegon was also featured in an episode of "Outrageous Food" that originally aired in 2011 that featured their ten-pound hash browns. Another Michigan restaurant that was featured on "Outrageous Food" is Palazzolo's Artisan Gelato & Sorbetto in Fennville with 600 kinds of gelato. The Food Network has also showcased several restaurants in the Hamtramck area on their series, "Bizarre Foods America" including Srodek's Campau Quality Sausage Co., Amar Pizza, Al Ajami Restaurant and the Sheeba Restaurant Hamtramck.

But that's just the start of a long list of restaurants in Michigan that you may have seen on the Food Network. Here's a photo gallery with MANY more places that you might have seen and some options that you might want to check out in person.
