Description: Lead by LCC English Professors, attendees will engage in a community-generated poetry activity using the work and voices of those who came before as inspiration. The activity will connect the work of African American poets to this year’s Black History Awareness Theme: African Americans and the Vote. No poetry experience needed - come and join us use your own voices and get connected through poetry. Registration is not required, but it is appreciated. lcc.edu/bha
