First off, if you have kids, Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes Exhibit at The Henry Ford is a great place to take them! I don’t have my own kids, but I borrowed my nephews for a day and they LOVED it.

I could see it being a great day trip, a reward for an accomplishment at school or the perfect way to engage bored minds or little bodies with too much energy. That being said, the exhibit is appropriate for all ages and fan levels, including those who have just been introduced to Marvel and those who have been avid fans for decades.

There’s a really cool Iron Man game that turns you into Iron Man and has you shoot targets by punching the air. My nephews really got a kick out of that. We also loved the photo booth outside of the museum that turns you into a superhero and slaps your face on a comic book cover. There are tons of superhero statues you can pose with, and you can even step inside Dr. Strange’s universe.

There are pictures of the classic comics and the old theme songs from some of the shows. One of my favorite parts was that they had a ton of the Marvel costumes on hand.
