Emergency Response Crews From Michigan To Help Hurricane Victims
Many emergency response crews from areas throughout Michigan are headed south to help with the aftermath of Hurricane Florence. According to one of our WITL listeners, David Hendon, who is senior paramedic with Jackson Community Ambulance, officials from Jackson Community Ambulance, Huron Valley Ambulance, Beaumont, Tri-Hospital, Livingston County, Richmond-Lenox, Alliance Mobile Health, Medstar, Community, Universal-Macomb, Detroit Medical Center and Hart are all on their way to help hurricane victims.
David shared the picture posted below and said that over 100 units were standing by with over 150 trailers that contained basic necessities for hurricane victims. The group left Wednesday afternoon. You can see more information on the Jackson Community Ambulance Facebook page.
