Have you ever had something happen to you once, think you've learned from it and then think you've made a change so it dosen't happen again?

Well how about if that same thing happens to you again even after you thought you learned your lesson...And then it happens again for maybe 5 or 6 times, simply because you forgot the lessons you thought you had learned previously?

On a side note, I always tell people that I can remember things that happened years ago, but I might not be able to tell you what I had for dinner last night. This not learning my recent lessons may have something to do with that.

So what does all of this come down to? The fact that I have driven to work multiple times and have been caught at the road construction and detour at Aurelius Road and Miller Road because I had forgotten about what was going on there. So many times that it has gotten frustrating. Like yesterday, I was having a conversation with a co-worker and as I was coming up over the hill and across the bridge on Aurelius and then again saw I got caught (I think this was time 5 or 6) I said a bad word...loudly. Sorry co-worker on the phone.

Okay, so I think I've learned my lesson (finally) but we'll see. All bets are off, I might still forget. In the meantime I scoured the internet to find out how long I'm going to have to find an alternate route and News 10 says this is a resurfacing project that is expected to last until early July. And just so you're aware, the construction extends to the corner of Jolly Road and Aurelius Road.

Get more info here from News 10 so you don't get caught multiple times. But if you do, you're not alone my friend.
