Businesses come and businesses go. This time around, it looks like we have a business coming to town.

I was doing my typical social media scrolling when I spotted some sweet news in the Lansing Chowhounds Facebook group. Literally and figuratively sweet, because apparently a Dairy Queen is coming to town.

Where East Lansing’s New Dairy Queen Will Be Located

The Facebook post mentioned they were going through East Lansing on Trowbridge Road and that Dairy Queen is going into the former home of PappaRoti.

Being curious and always wanting to know the Lansing foodie tea, I made my way out there to confirm the rumors. I was happy to least that it indeed seems that East Lansing is getting a Dairy Queen.

Specifically, the old PappaRoti is being turned into a DQ Grill & Chill, which means it will serve hot food alongside frozen sweet treats.

At this time, there's no word on when the opening day will be. There seems to be quite a bit of construction still to go by the looks of it.
