Controversial Publication Calls Out Michigan City For Being the Rudest
When I think of rude cities, I think of places like New York
or the "City of Brotherly Love" Philadelphia
I base this solely on my knowledge of how mean and relentless the sports fan can be.
Philadelphia has to be the rudest city in America after what they did to Hitchbot.
What Did Philadelphia Do To HitchBOT?
hitchBOT was a Canadian hitchhiking robot created by professors David Harris Smith of McMaster University and Frauke Zeller of Ryerson University in 2013.
It gained international attention for successfully hitchhiking across Canada, Germany, and the Netherlands.
But in 2015 its attempt to hitchhike across the United States ended when it was stripped and decapitated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
What City Is The Rudest In Michigan?
The publication Travel A Lot had this to say about Michigan's rudest city.
It's no surprise that Detroit is on this list. But in their defense, they have a lot to be rude about there. It's not exactly the shining beacon of American progress that it was way back when--that will put anyone in a bad mood. Hey, if Detroit is rude, at least that means it's still alive!
I didn't grow up in Detroit but I've been there a lot for concerts and sporting events.
I've always experienced nice and kind people so I don't get why Detroit got such a bad rap.
