As we head into August we are all keenly aware that Summer time will be wrapping up soon and winter weather is getting closer every day. We’ve finally had some fun outdoor events again this summer and that was a welcome return.

With the warm summer weather still in effect we need to get out and enjoy it, and Delhi Township has created a fun event for all of us to enjoy. The Delhi Township’s Cruise-In event will be happening this Friday from 5 to 8pm.

And it will continue every Friday for the remainder of Summer. They are inviting anyone with a classic car, modern car or motorcycle to participate in the event being held at the Holt Farmers Market.

“It’s never been more important for our community to gather and celebrate these precious days of summer after such a challenging year,” said Tracy Miller, Delhi Township manager. “Our Cruise-In series provides the perfect opportunity for enthusiasts to show off their rides, meet with old friends, and make new ones.”

What a great way for collectors to display their rides for all to enjoy. It’s a perfect setting to gather with friends and enjoy being outside and taking in the nostalgia of the classic cars and custom rides their owners are proud to share with you.

Township clerk Evan Hope organized the event as a way for the whole family to enjoy the township’s summer activities.

Event parking is provided at the Farmers Market parking lot. Ice Cream Shops, restaurants and local businesses will be open to serve you.
