A woman in Chesaning, MI spent FIVE days in her bathtub after she sat down in her bathtub on October 15th and then couldn't reach the handrail to get out.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Alison Gibson says she drank cold water to keep hydrated and ran warm water to keep comfortable, but other than that - just sat there hoping to be rescued.

Eventually, the mail carrier saw the mail piling up at her house and told the neighbors, who yelled through the bathroom window to make contact and then called 911 to get the Chesaning police out to check on her. She spent a few days in the hospital, but she's fine now.
