Beloved Michigan Cheese Shop Opening Soon in East Lansing
Cheese lovers of Mid-Michigan, our time has come!
Michigan-Based Cheese Store Opening in East Lansing
The Cheese Lady has a new location opening right here in East Lansing.
This lactose loveliness born in Muskegon over 20 years ago is bringing its dairy-based delights to the Lansing area—and, honestly, my taste buds can't wait.
Founded by Kathleen Riegler, The Cheese Lady has grown into a franchise with locations in Grand Rapids, Traverse City, Kalamazoo, Fenton, Rochester, St. Joseph, and the OG store in Muskegon.

Now, according to the Lansing State Journal, Holt couple April and Forrest Robart are making our cheese dreams come true by opening the eighth location in East Lansing in the plaza that sits on the southeast corner of Lake Lansing and Coolidge Roads.
When is The Cheese Lady Opening in East Lansing?
The East Lansing shop, opening in August, will start with 120 cheeses, most of them freshly cut. Tasting is encouraged (thank you!), and they eventually plan to offer up to 200 varieties.
