CDC Warns Of Second Round Of Deadly Flu
If you breathed a sigh of relief because you thought you successfully dodged the flu this season, brace yourself...there's a second wave of the flu that's making a lot of people sick. According to WILX, the H1N1 virus, also known as Influenza B is now spreading throughout mid-Michigan. Health officials say that this strain of flu can be very dangerous and even deadly for young kids. Symptoms of the flu include a high fever, body shakes, nausea, diarrhea, and severe headaches. If you think your child may have the flu, health officials say to take them to see a health professional to minimize the chance of any secondary infections. Also, health experts say it's not too late to get your flu shot.
