Can You Help Name This Adorable Puppy in Mason?

Usually the only things you see on Facebook these days are friends arguing over who should wear masks, what material the face mask should be made of and where they should be wearing that face mask. And if people aren't arguing about masks on Facebook, then they're probably fighting about politics...or maybe all of it at the same time.

So, when you come across a fun Facebook post or a post that isn't about masks or politics, it's a pleasant surprise. Earlier this month, there was the post from Kristi, a mom in DeWitt, who was looking for some Halloween costumes that were mistakenly sold at a garage sale. (By the way, you can read more about the story by clicking here. I'm happy to report that she actually was able to get the lion costume back but she's still looking for the monkey costume.)

And over the weekend, I saw a post on the What's Happening Around Mason, MI Facebook page that caught my eye and I had to share it with you. This fun Facebook post involves a cute new male shepherd puppy in Mason that needs a name. Samantha posted this adorable picture over the weekend:

So far, she's literally gotten hundreds of suggestions including Shep, Sarge, Tank, Rambo and more. I messaged Samantha over the weekend and asked if I could share her story and see if we could get even more name suggestions. (She said "sure".) They haven't settled on a name yet and right now they're calling their new addition 'Pup'. Feel free to share your name suggestion and we'll keep you posted.
