The 71st Tony Awards were Sunday night and it turned into a big 'ol celebration of the University of Michigan. According to MLive.com, Michigan grads Benj Pasek and Justin Paul won for "Best Score" for the musical "Dear Evan Hansen". This comes just a few months after winning the Oscar for Best Original Song for "City of Stars" from the movie "La La Land". Gavin Creel won an acting Tony for his part in the new version of "Hello, Dolly" starring Bette Midler. And finally, Michigan's own James Earl Jones was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award. Which begs the question, "Where's the "Star Wars" musical?" Huh? C'mon America! Darth Vader doing show tunes?
