Michigan's First BIBIBOP Is Coming to East Lansing

Lansing has seen an incredible year of restaurant growth thus far. Especially since not even half the year is through and we've already seen over 25 different restaurants open their doors.

And, it looks like we have another restaurant to add to the ever-growing list of openings: BIBIBOP Asian Grill.

BIBIBOP Asian Grill is a fast-casual Korean-inspired chain that got its start in Ohio in 2013. Since then, the chain has opened over 70 locations in ten other states/districts; Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, North Carolina, Missouri, Kentucky, District of Columbia, and California.

A state that BIBIBOP Asian Grill hasn't made its way to yet is Michigan. However, that's all about to change with the opening of BIBIBOP in East Lansing.

This future fast-casual eatery will be located on East Grand River Avenue right between Curious Book Shop and The Tin Can. When it opens, you'll be able to "build-your-own-bowl" with Korean and other Asian-inspired ingredients. Guests can pick a base, add toppings, choose a protein, and finish it with a sauce.

When Could BIBIBOP Open?

As of right now there's no official word on an opening date. However, I can tell you that they are doing construction inside the building right now and there is some signage up on the outside of the windows, so they are definitely working on things.

When BIBIBOP Asian Grill gets up and running, it will be a great option for those with more narrow dietary restrictions or preferences—they're 100% gluten-free, vegan friendly, peanut-free, no added MSG, plus they use all natural chicken and USDA organic tofu.
