My 2025 Food Recap: One Cookie Ruled Them All
We're rapidly approaching the end of the year, a time where a great deal of us look back on the last 12 months and take stock.
Looking Back on a Year of Food
You probably think back on some of the big moments in life, like weddings, births, deaths, career changes, and so many other big, important moments.
But I want to take a moment and take stock of all the food I ate this year.
Yes, we eat every day in order to sustain ourselves. But, I've been very lucky to have dined upon some very delicious things in 2025.

And in looking back at all the things I've eaten—breakfasts, lunches, dinners—there's one thing that stands out from the rest... And that one thing is a cookie.
I would like to preface this by saying that I think of myself as a baker. I love to bake cookies, among other desserts and sweet treats. And truthfully (I'm not trying to toot my own horn here, but... toot toot), I make some pretty darn delicious cookies.
Enter: Dunk’d — My Cookie Obsession
All of that to say that Dunk'd has a hold on me like no other cookie place has had before.
Dunk'd opened its brick-and-mortar eatery in October 2024, and I've been there more times than I can count.

Every Tuesday night I look forward to the Facebook post that Dunk'd does to let us know what that week's cookies will be. There are always the classic cookies available: oatmeal raisin, toffee choco, honey roasted peanut butter, snickerdoodle, salted caramel cornflake crunch, and sugar cookie.
Then, there are the weekly flavors; a set of bigger, thicker cookies that are unique to the menu that week.
Why a Cookie From Dunk'd Was the Best Thing I've Eaten All Year
Of all the cookies I've had there, there is one that haunts my dreams: the Banana Cream Pie.
The week that Dunk'd had the banana pudding cookie I went there twice and got a grand total of two cookies and two 'cookie jar of the week', all of which were banana pudding. The Nilla wafers, the banana pudding, and the amazing cookie all came together like a delicious pie/cookie concoction.
If you have a sweet tooth that needs satisfying, Dunk'd is where I'd send you.
