Michigan is Home to the Best Children’s Museum in America
Newsweek recently released its list of Best Children's Museums, and of the ten museums that made the list, one Michigan museum made the list!
The Best Children's Museums in America Named By Newsweek
If a museum makes this list, you know it has to be good. First, only ten spots made the list, meaning not every state is represented and these spots even more coveted.
Here's how Newsweek determined the best museums around; "These 10 children's museums were selected by our featured panelists and contributors and voted on by readers as the best of the best."
The Best Children's Museum in Michigan
Among the top ten list, the Michigan museum that reigns supreme is Impression 5 Science Center in Lansing, Michigan.
Founded in 1972 by Marilynne Eichinger, this museum has been encouraging those to explore the world through our five senses, as the name would suggest.

Every year, over 160,000 people visit Impression 5 Science Center to have fun and explore "science with interactive, hand-built exhibits, thoughtful programming that encourages risk taking, teamwork, and problem solving skills."
If you need a place to take the kiddos for them to run around, have fun, and burn off some energy, Impression 5 is a great place to do it. Bonus: they're learning while they have fun. That's a parenting win win.
