Bald Eagle Rescued in Michigan
Bald Eagles are one of the most beautiful birds you can witness. I spent a few hours in Juno, Alaska years back with a pair of binoculars and was totally entertained watching how graceful they are. Google describes them as having white heads and tails with dark brown bodies and wings. Their legs and bills are bright yellow. Younger birds you will notice have dark heads and tails. They have long stunning brown wings, and their bodies have white areas. They are officially adults in about 5 years.
Look How Beautiful These Birds Are
There was a bald Eagle that got in a mess of trouble in Ann Arbor, and it was soon rescued after he was tangled on fishing line.
Sad to see that the bird had wire around his wing. It tied him to a log, and he could not get loose. The Humane Society of Huron Valley were the heroes who made the rescue, and were delighted that when he was free there were no injuries. The eagle was then taken to the Howell Nature Center where it got care and was pampered..
HNC's vet did another physical exam, verifying that the eagle had sustained no major injuries. After some time to rest, he will be put in their outdoor flight pen to test his ability to fly. Once he successfully completes all of his flight tests, he will be returned to Ann Arbor and released back into the wild to rejoin his family,
Happy Ending For This Eagle
Happy to report that that he is gonna be fine and will be returned to his normal life soon.
