Another Lansing Area Road Closure Begins Today

Be aware of another Lansing area road closure.

WILX 10 makes us aware of another Lansing area road closure that begins today. According to WILX, in order to finish up some water main work, the Lansing Board of Water & Light will be completely shutting down Verlinden Avenue between Osborn Road and West Saginaw Street.

In addition to Verlinden being completely shut down, Saginaw Street will down to one lane in that area. There are detours posted, and drivers are advised to take advantage of them. The work shouldn't take too long. It's estimated that the roads will be back open by 6 am on Monday, August 13th. Get more details on the road closures here.
