Such a good time and escape to go to a winery with friends and just relax if you love the grape as many of us do. When I lived in Vegas we went to The Francis Ford Coppola Winery a few times and it was the best wine I ever had and a weekend, truly amazing

I do highly recommend a trip to Napa's wineries. They are stunning and beautiful if you have the time. Keep in mind though there are some great wineries to visit right here in Michigan.

Attention Michigan wine lovers did you know like many of the world’s famous wine countries, Bordeaux in France and Italy’s Piedmont area are similar to Michigan’s Leelanau Peninsula. Another great way to try great-tasting and robust wine.

North of Traverse City, the Leelanau Peninsula is one of Michigan’s five American Viticultural Areas (AVAs). Lake Michigan’s “lake effect” environment supports growing classic vinifera grape varieties, including riesling, chardonnay, pinot noir, and cabernet franc. These grapes are hearty enough to withstand the sometimes harsh Michigan winters.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
