5 Things To Know Before You Go to the Garth Brooks Show

The show starts at 7 pm on Saturday, February 22nd at Ford Field. It was announced earlier this week that Chase Rice is going to be the opening act for the Garth Brooks show in Detroit. Some of Chase Rice's songs include, "Ready, Set, Roll" and "Eyes On You". Gates at Ford Field will open at 5 pm on Saturday

In order to make sure that you get to the show on time, you'll want to start planning your strategy for parking near Ford Field. There is a strict bag/purse policy at Ford Field. The only bags, packages or containers permitted to be carried by fans as they approach the stadium are: a bag that is clear plastic,vinyl, or PVC and does not exceed 12” x 6” x 12, a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar and a small clutch bag, camera and binocular cases, not exceeding 4.5” x 6.5”, with or without a handle or strap. You'll want to get to downtown Detroit early on Saturday so you can go out to eat at one of the nearby restaurants or check out the fun pre-concert activities that will be taking place at Ford Field. As we mentioned before, over 70,000 tickets sold in only 90 minutes for the show at Ford Field in Detroit. However, it's possible that some tickets could become available at Ticketmaster.
