What? You Can’t Kill “Archie”!

According to the New York Post, they're going to kill off "Archie" from the "Archie" comics!

This story makes no sense at all. Apparently, they have a story line called "Life With Archie" with Archie living as an adult - not the high school student Archie that's been around since 1941. According to Jon Goldwater, CEO of Archie Comics, Archie will die "as he lived - heroically" when "Life With Archie #36" comes out on July 16th. That sounds a little too serious for the "Archie" comics I know.

And who will get the life insurance money - Betty or Veronica? My guess is Betty.
