I signed up for the vaccine a while ago. I knew that there were phases according to Michigan.gov/coronavirus, but I also knew that the vaccine was becoming more available. I wanted to make sure my name was on the list and in the hat so speak. I wanted to make sure when my group became available, I could get alerted right away. Like many Michiganders, I want the shot. To protect myself and others.

Every Michigander 16 and older will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine in April, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and the state health department said Friday.

Starting March 22, anyone 16 and up with a qualifying medical condition will also be eligible.

How to get the vaccine: Your guide on where to go in Michigan (Freep)

I got my email from the health department Friday afternoon (03/12/2021). I went online to book my appointment and found out I would be getting my shot (Moderna) the following Monday afternoon (that was very quick to me), and at the MSU Pavilion.

I took pictures for you to see the whole journey. It's a drive through function. You don't get out of your car. The Michigan National guard help administer your vaccines.

As of this article being posted (some five hours after the shot) I have no soreness nor any adverse or noticeable side-effects.

Please, click the links above, sign up, and get your Covid-19 vaccine.
