Watch The Lake Superior Ice Disappear
At one point this winter, the ice coverage on the Great Lakes was at 80%. Banana Don reported the other day that the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resouces posted photos of iceburgs that are still on Lake Superior. Well, now Mlive has posted satellite images showing the ice on the lake 'disappearing.' Check it out here. It's pretty cool to move your mouse over the image and see the ice 'melt' away.
