Trisha Yearwood touring “Just Because”

Trisha Yearwood will be performing at Wharton Center in East Lansing on Thursday night (welcomed by WITL)...and in a recent interview, she told Bilboard Magazine that she's touring "just because I want to"!   She continued...“I love these intimate theater shows and I won’t get a chance to do for a while so I thought, ‘You know what? I’ve got a little window here, I need to go do these for me.’ He was wonderfully supportive because it’s right in the middle of soccer season and he won’t be able to go with me, but I’m only gone like two weekends out of the month. It’s not like I’ll be gone a long time. He can survive. I’ll leave him some casseroles to bake!"

She's planning on touring with husband Garth Brooks this Fall.  And in the meantime, she's performing on smaller venues on her own tour and also is planning on recording an album this Spring/Summer.  Plus, of course, her TV show and a new Cookbook!  She's a busy lady.
