June 5, 1985. It was a Wednesday. In Chicago, the weather was sunny and the high temperature was 65. And it was "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". The real day off.

How do we know? Some years ago, a baseball statistics expert named Larry Granillo, did painstaking research to figure out that the Cubs/Braves game that Ferris and his friends went to in the movie, took place on June 5, 1985.

It's been thirty years now. June 5th falls on a Friday this year. And, ya know - Chicago's only three and a half hours away. Just sayin'. Add to that, John Hughes, who wrote and directed "Ferris Bueller" was born in Lansing. (You never know WHAT freaky fact will push people over the edge.)

In the meantime, how well do you know all of the "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" trivia? Check this out.
