I sit down at my desk this morning, look at my calendar, and notice that tomorrow is the FIRST DAY OF SPRING...which means today is the LAST DAY OF WINTER!   And what a winter it has been!  Ice storms,  massive power outages, broken trees, bad roads and of course snow.

To date, tne National Weather Service has total snowfall in Lansing this year at just over 68 inches.  A lot...but certainly not the most.  Want to see how snowfall this winter stacks up with the past?  Click here:  http://www.crh.noaa.gov/grr/climate/data/lan/snowfall/

So...for today, the last day of Winter...we can expect rain with high's in the mid-40's.  Tomorrow...for the first day of Spring?...a 40% chance of snow!   I don't think winter is quite over yet...but it looks good on paper!  Drive safe!
