You know the old joke about going over Niagara Falls in a barrel - how about going over Tahquamenon Falls in a kayak? That's exactly what one videographer captured in the Upper Peninsula recently.

The footage comes from K&R LaLone Photography who posted this video to Facebook on December 30, 2018. It shows a kayaker paddling up to and over the tannin-brown precipice of the Tahquamenon River.

The kayaker is identified as Marcelo Galizio who has many other daring and death-defying runs on his Vimeo page. He loaded a trailer for a video of his kayaking adventures at the falls. He describes his trip

from Brazil and his trip to Paradise, Northern Michigan (UP), where Tahquamenon Falls is located and the two successful runs with different water levels and different lines.

We hope this goes without saying - don't try this yourself!
