Schools Warn Parents Of Potentially Dangerous New Online Challenge
Some school officials are warning parents of a dangerous new online challenge. The potentially deadly game is called the 'Blue Whale Challenge' or 'Blue Whale Game'. According to The Sun, the 'challenge' seems to have originated from Russia and with the 'Blue Whale Challenge', kids are 'challenged' to harm themselves for 50 days and the 'challenge' often results in suicide.
According to Snopes, the 'challenge' is unproven, however school officials in Alabama recently issued a warning of the 'Blue Whale Challenge' on their Facebook page. (See below.) Whether it's real or not, it certainly is something to be aware of...
