Police Investigating Possible Highway Shootings In Michigan
According to the Detroit Free Press, police in Calhoun County are investigating reports of shots being fired at vehicles traveling on I-94 and I-69. Officials with the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office says the damage to cars is being blamed on "projectiles." However, police are taking a closer look at the damage and believe that it is related to gunshots.
The possible highway shootings occurred between July 29th through August 21st in Calhoun County as well as Branch County. The incidents have occurred during daytime and nighttime hours on I-94 between 11-Mile Road and I-69, and on I-69 between M-60 and Jonesville Road in Branch County. No injuries have been reported.
