The Mitchell Tenpenny concert that was to happen tomorrow night (8/29) is now postponed.

The "Tailgates and Tunes" show, which is a production of "Country Boots and Bands' was slated to also feature Sadie Bass and Jason Cross at Jackson's Grande Golf Club and was a "drive-in" event concert at the course.

The good thing is that the show was a sell-out but now unfortunately, excited ticket holders who were anxious to get out and hear some great live music will now have to wait a little longer.

According to the Country Boots and Bands Facebook page and to a press release issued to 100.7 WITL, the concert promoter is coordinating with the Michigan Attorney General's office and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer's office so that these types of shows can proceed and is seeking written verification from those offices.

Country Boots and Bands did everything within their power to be able to do this show on Saturday but is now in the process of rescheduling this event with everyone involved and is looking forward to being able to present this event at a later date.

Of course, all of the tickets purchased for the Mitchell Tenpenny concert will be honored at the new date of the event and should you need a refund, the promoter will be happy to accommodate you, too. If you purchased tickets for the show, you will be receiving an email with information soon about the show which will include details on how to get a refund should you need to request one.
