Michigan Team Headed To The Little League World Series
Last Saturday, the little league team from Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores, Michigan beat the little league team from Indiana to advance to this year's Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. And let me tell you...this team is good! They mercied Indiana in four innings, beating them by a score of 13-0. They have a team full of great hitters on Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores and their pitcher on Saturday, Brennan Hill, only gave up one hit and one walk in his pitching performance.
The boys from Gross Pointe Woods-Shores will take the field on Friday afternoon in Williamsport in their first game of the Little League World Series. The game starts at 4pm and will be televised on ESPN.
