According to Mlive, venison from deer recently killed by sharpshooters that were hired to reduce the deer population in Ann Arbor is going to be processed to help feed the hungry.  Over the past month, officials say a few dozen deer have been killed by the sharpshooters. The city of Ann Arbor wants to kill at least 100 deer that are in city parks and nature areas by March. Howell-based Great Lakes Custom Meats and More is processing the meat, which will then be delivered to the Ann Arbor-based Food Gatherers, which is a nonprofit food rescue and food bank program that serves Washtenaw County.
