This weekend at Ford Field, the champions of Michigan high school football will be decided. And, as usual, we've got some local teams playing.

First up - the Division 6 Championship game: Defending champ Jackson Lumen Christi takes on Ithaca, Friday at 4:30PM, in the "Battle of US127". The experts at MLive.com give Ithaca a slight edge in this game, but a "slight edge" ain't much.

Saturday morning at 10AM, the Division 7 final has Pewamo-Westphalia taking on Saugatuck. If this were about fishing and trendy gift shops, Saugatuck would be your clear winner, but the experts are expecting the P-W Pirates to repeat as Michigan's Division 7 football champs.

Good luck to everybody playing and watching!
