In a real Michigan mystery, your friends at the Michigan DNR tell MLive.com, that a woman walking her dog found the frozen carcass of a cougar, on a road in Breitung Township, just a few miles north of Iron Mountain (Tom Izzo - what do you know about this?) The DNR believes the carcass was dumped there a day or two before it was found.

How'd it get there? If you know anything, call 1st Lt. Pete Wright of the DNR, at 906-228-6561 ext. 3028. He'll be waiting for your call in his wingtips and camo fedora.

My guess is it was the Yooper, with a pastie.
