Meteor Misses Lansing By 300 Miles – Hits Canada – More To Come Tonight?

Sunday afternoon, somebody's dashcam caught a meteor coming down in Ontario, east of us, in southern Canada. Here's the story with video.

Scientists estimate this meteor was about half a meter wide - for comparison's sake - a little larger than the size of Chris Christie's head. But, if you got hit by a flaming Chris Christie's head....

The meteor shower this is associated with, the Eta Aquarid meteor shower, is peaking right now - so if it's clear tonight, you might see some more.
