People living near the Detroit Zoo say loud noises from a dinosaur exhibit has been brought under better control. According to the Detroit Free Press, neighbors were not very happy with the loud noises coming from the Dinosauria exhibit, a popular summer exhibit of simulated extinct reptiles. However, zoo officials made some changes to the set-up and neighbors now seem a little happier.

According to one neighbor, you can still hear the dinosaurs when you go outside but now they don't hear the dinosaurs all day inside their house. In order to reduce some of the noise level, zoo officials moved some exhibits, installed a $42,000 sound wall and hired a a sound consultant. The exhibit opened in May and will be at the Detroit Zoo until Labor Day. To learn more about the Dinosaur exhibit, click here (or 'hear')....ha, get it?
