Living Off the Grid in Michigan – Say Hello to the 2015 “Homesteaders of the Year”

If you've ever thought of living "off the grid", you need to read all about the "Homesteaders of the Year". Families that have been chosen for their success in sustainable living. It's not for every body, but it seems that Michigan is a hot spot for families who have gone off the grid.

Of the four families Mother Earth News named as  "2015 Homesteaders of the Year", two live in Michigan. The Trumpey family lives near Grass Lake and the Eby family lives near Cassopolis, southwest of Kalamazoo.
