It’s Operation Safe Driver Week In Michigan

According to Michigan.gov, it's Operation Safe Driver Week in Michigan. Michigan State Police will be boosting traffic safety enforcement this week in an effort to reduce crashes and deaths on the roadways. According to the report, Captain Michael Krumm, commander of the MSP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division, said that "last year in Michigan we saw almost a 20 percent reduction in fatal crashes involving commercial motor vehicles." Operation Safe Driver Week runs through Saturday.
