Thinking back to some of the best moments from my personal childhood Halloweens include: using pink spray paint in my hair for a "rock star" costume and having to take the longest shower ever after trick-or-treating so it wouldn't stain my bed, my sister dressing up as a box of crayons and couldn't get back up after she fell down, one guy in the neighborhood working for Hostess and handing out Twinkies, and so much more.

As an adult, I can now enjoy the more "adult" Halloweens and parties like what I always saw my parents enjoying and I've got to say, I like it WAY more.
