Fancy New Michigan License Plates Available Soon

Are you a huge fan of the Detroit Tigers? How about the Lions, Pistons, Red Wings or even the Michigan International Speedway? Well, soon you'll have another way to show off your team spirit as Detroit sports team license plates--and MIS plates--are going to be available in the somewhat near future.

According to the Detroit News, the plates should be available sometime in 2019. Drivers who purchase the new fundraising license plates will be charged an initial fee of $35. Of that amount, $10 will go to the Secretary of State's office for processing the plate, and the remaining $25 will go to the chosen team's charity foundation.
